Yoga Tips for Second Trimester Pregnant Women

  • Practise all the tips in first trimester
  • You are encouraged to practise poses like chair pose (Utkatasana) that helps to create space for baby, such as the ones with legs apart or other poses that bring the torso closer to the thigh
  • Avoid prone position (face down)
  • Joints are loosen in this stage so, go into, coming out of yoga postures slowly
  • Use wall or chair when doing active standing pose to avoid the risk of falling
